The book of Acts is filled with dramatic moments.
Miracles.
Preaching.
Journeys.

But today, we pause to notice someone whose faithfulness looked quieter.
A woman named Tabitha.
She is not introduced through power or public influence.
Instead, Scripture remembers her for something deeply simple:
Her goodness.
Her generosity.
Her care for others.
And that matters more than we sometimes realize.

Scripture doesn’t say she occasionally did good works.
It says she was full of them.
Compassion had become part of who she was.
Many people wonder whether their lives are making a difference.
They compare themselves to louder voices,
larger platforms,
more visible callings.
But Tabitha reminds us that love lived consistently leaves a deep mark on the world.
Not every meaningful life draws attention.
Some simply bless everyone nearby.
Today, don’t underestimate small acts of goodness.
A kind word.
A thoughtful gesture.
A patient response.
A willingness to help quietly.
These things matter.
You may never fully see the impact they have on others.
But God sees.
And over time, a life shaped by compassion becomes a testimony all its own.
Closing Prayer
Lord,
Thank You for reminding me that faithfulness is not measured only through visible accomplishments.
You value kindness, compassion, and quiet acts of love.
Help me not to overlook the small opportunities to care for others each day.
Give me a heart that is attentive to need, willing to serve, and generous without seeking recognition.
Teach me to live faithfully in ordinary moments— to speak gently, to give freely, and to love consistently.
And when I wonder whether my efforts matter, remind me that no act of love is unseen by You.
Shape my life into something that quietly reflects Your goodness to those around me.
