When Everything Is Reframed

Tuesday Transformation

When Everything Is Reframed

“O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
— 1 Corinthians 15:55–57 (LXX)

There are moments when everything feels overwhelming.

A failure that lingers.
A frustration that won’t let go.
A weight that seems heavier than it should be.

And in those moments, our vision narrows.

Everything feels larger than it is.
Everything feels more final than it truly is.

The Quiet Shift

But there’s a different way of seeing.

Not by ignoring what’s difficult.
Not by pretending something doesn’t matter.

But by stepping back—
even for a moment—
and remembering what is most true.

Christ is risen.

And that reality does not sit at the edges of our lives.

It stands at the center.

What Becomes Smaller

When we return to that center, something begins to change.

Not always immediately.
Not always dramatically.

But steadily.

What once consumed us begins to loosen its hold.
What once defined the moment begins to fade.

Not because it disappears—
but because it is no longer the greatest thing in view.

Holding to What Is Greater

Now, in the light of the Resurrection, this becomes clearer.

We have seen our weaknesses.
We have felt our limits.
We have encountered the places where we struggle.

But we are not left there.

Christ is risen.

And that changes how everything is seen.

What once felt overwhelming is no longer ultimate.
What once felt defining no longer has the final word.

Because we are no longer moving toward something greater—

we are learning to live within it.

A reality that does not rise and fall with our circumstances.
A joy that is not undone by our failures.

This Week’s Invitation

When something feels heavy this week—
pause.

Even briefly.

Step back inwardly and ask:

What is truly at the center right now?

Then return to what’s unchanging.

Return to Christ.

Return to the truth that is greater than this moment.

Closing Reflection

There’s a way of seeing where everything feels urgent, overwhelming, and final.
And there’s a way of seeing where everything is held within something greater.

Now, in the light of the Resurrection, we are being invited into that second way.

Not by force.
But by remembrance.

Because Christ is risen.

And when He stands at the center,
everything else begins to find its proper place.
